001 ✚ video

[crumbled]

[there is a sudden flare of bright green light that nearly obscures everything else from view. as it is, there's still a faint outline of a figure as viewed from below, a woman perhaps? judging by that hair. but the body should be that of a man's.

after a few moments, the light fades (retreats, even, to the two areas that seem to be the figure's hands), and the outline bleeds darker to show a.. certainly a man, Japanese (though his black and red trimmed uniform is anything but that), rubbing his wrist as he looks around. his gaze falls on the PDA on the ground momentarily, frowning, but instead of picking it up, he nudges at it with his foot and knocks it aside. it flips a few times until it comes to a stop propped up against the wall of a building, now filming the man walking away.

the only sound is that of footsteps and the sword clanking at his side.

there's no sign of what could have that light.]

[Is that Kanda he spots? Wasn't she supposed to be on this side of the world? Still in the form of a wolf made of winds and lightning, he trots after Kanda, tail raised a bit as he looks as friendly as he can and yips, thunder and the natural sound mixing together.]

[blinking. it'll take another moment before he can work out a response. this... isn't happening. is it? what.

[By the time Allen answers this broadcast, he has already skimmed through most of the earlier feeds at a speed close to frantic, driven by the pressure to be on top of everything. Fast enough to quickly grasp the situation, but not fast enough to miss the fact that some things don't match up; say, the discrepancy between Kanda's uniform and his initial unrecognition of Lavi's voice, for example. Thankfully, he also has quite a bit of experience with alternate realities.

[even having heard Alma mention Allen being here (he'd just assumed it was his imagination, really. though he doesn't know why he'd ever imagine something like that. it doesn't make sense.) it still catches him by surprise to hear-- to see that annoying face.

of course he has to remind himself that this is probably. probably. not the Allen that.. he knows. (as if there's any difference. is there?)

[It's already been a stressful month. Lenalee's not sure how much more she can take, between creating and repairing rifts in her world and trying her damndest to make room for more of it. How many new arrivals since the fog rolled in mid-June? Too many. Far too many. And now...]

[It's said softly, a little tiredly (she sees that standard-issue sword in place of Mugen), but mostly, she sounds fond. She's crept through enough of the other feeds to gather an idea of what's going on, and while she's not quite sure how to feel about a second Kanda...
